Seminar on
"Central Region - International Destinations Development" in
Quang Nam

August the 19th, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Quang Nam People's
Committe in coordination with Phong Phu Joint Stock Company
held a conference on "Central Region - International
Destinations Development".
More than 150 delegates from relevant Ministries, functional
authorities, central localities, travel companies, senior
economic specialists attended the seminar.
The delegates' ideas have shown not only challenges the
Central Region's Tourism has to face but also drawbacks that
should be fixed to make the Region a real international
destination. These ideas indeed brought about many
suggestions for tourism development of this potential area.
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Pham Duc Hai - Editor-in-chief
of the Tuoi Tre Newspaper asserted that tourism of Central
Coastal provinces has had rapid development steps in recent
years. The emergence of a series of resort, hotels, and
entertainment, recreation and catering areas has made such a
very exciting environment for tourism. Domestic and
international tourists traveling to this region have
increased year-on-year.
The domestic and international economic specialists
evaluated that being favored by nature, culture, and
heritage; the region would be tourism hub in the Southeast
Asia Region.
