VNAT's
slogan-logo designing contest launched
On
August 24, VNAT launched slogan-logo designing contest for
Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program period 2011-2015.
The slogan "Vietnam - The hidden charm", which was widely
and synchronously used in tourism promotion campaigns period
2006-2010, has brought about numerous successes and made
strong impression on international tourists about Vietnam -
a country with unique picturesque wild landscapes,
diversified traditional culture, friendly people... However,
to meet new development requirements in the next period,
Vietnam Tourism needs a new slogan-logo.
Vietnam Tourism Promotion Campaign period 2010-2020, vision
2030 considers tourism an important industry that
contributes foreign currency earnings to the national
budget, fostering the transformation of economic structure,
and creating new jobs. In the period of 2010-2020, tourism
industry sets its goal to achieve growth rate at 10-15% per
year. To make the goal real, tourism industry needs to boost
its brandname development, carry out effectively the Tourism
Promotion Programme.
The contest organized by VNAT will select a new slogan-logo
which can completely reflect Vietnam tourism's strategic
development, attractiveness, and competitive advantages,
thus drawing more international tourists to Vietnam.
The candidates of the contest are regulated to be domestic
and international companies, organizations, and individuals
specializing in brand name developing, slogan-logo
designing, marketing, and travel consulting. The required
time for product submission will be from August 25 to
December 15, 2010.
