DAY 1 - HO CHI MINH CITY - MY THO - Cau Giay (L - D) Say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of Saigon and depart for My Tho. My Tho is 70km to the South of Saigon and located on the upper reaches of the Mekong River in Vietnam. After boarding, you will enjoy a cocktail party at Funnel Bar and Lounge, enjoy a welcome dinner on the Sun Deck. The ship will be anchored at My Tho during the night. Overnight on Jayavarman Cruise for the first night. Day 2 - CAI BE - SA DEC - CHAU DOC (B - L - D) Visitors will be awakened as soon as the sun begins. The first activity is a visit to the vibrant and colorful Cai Be floating market on a traditional sampan (a type of traditional Vietnamese wooden boat). During the cruise, visitors explore the breathtaking scenery along the river and immerse themselves in the surrounding rustic life in the Mekong Delta. The journey will take place continuously, which is a great opportunity for visitors to experience how to make soy sauce, rice cake, coconut candy, dried longan. Afterwards, visitors arrive at an old house surrounded by orchards before having lunch on board. In the afternoon, the cruise will arrive in Sa Dec. Here, everyone is involved in the process of growing and processing water hyacinth into natural fiber floor mats and rattan baskets. In the evening, tourists travel on a romantic boat. Rest on Jayavarman Cruise for the second night. Day 3- CHAU DOC - BORDER (B - L - D)
Welcome to Vietnam fish reserve. Everyone enjoys a hearty breakfast at the Chinese dining area. Meanwhile, the ship moved to Chau Doc, near the Cambodian border, where the Chinese, Kinh and Khmer communities live quite a lot. Next, the boat moves to the harbor and visits a floating village and pangasius farm to learn about Basa fish farming in the Mekong Delta. After that, guests return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, the train will depart for the border and Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. This is the right time to relax on board. Day 4 - PHNOM PENH (B - L - D) Phnom Penh used to be "Paris of the East". Despite growing rapidly, it still retains a lot of charm and rusticity. arrived at 07:30 am. Visitors are introduced to the history of Cambodia. This is followed by a tour of Cambodia's capital including a visit to the brilliant yellow and white edifice of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, and a special Khmer craft village at the National Museum. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields in town. Then return to the ship, rest on the cabin balcony or lounge and prepare for an exciting event in the evening. The evening begins with a variety of cocktails served on the sundeck. Guests enjoy the Apsara dance performance, experience the brilliance and richness of this culture, the soft sounds of traditional music, the gentle aroma of the barbecue... Overnight on the Cruise Jayavarman. Day 5 - PHNOM PENH - KAMPONG CHAM (B - L - D) Before dawn, visitors will move from Phnom Penh to a stop at Chong Koh silk weaving village. Then return to China and pass by the peaceful villages of the Mekong River. Visitors observe the river life of people hard at work. Visit the rural village of Angkor Ban, where time seems to have stood still. The houses here are made by hand without any concrete. Visitors can participate in the daily activities of the villagers to experience the village life firsthand. Then, return to the Train and continue your journey towards Kampong Cham. Overnight on Jayavarman Cruise. Day 6 - KAMPONG CHAM - WAT HANCHEY (B - L - D) Guests wake up early in the morning to begin the journey to the pre-Angkorian temple Wat Hanchey. The temple sits on top of a hill overlooking the river, one of the most breathtaking views in Cambodia. The temple was built in the 8th century. Then return to China to witness a blessing ceremony performed by local monks wearing Saffron. When the tide allows, enjoy our zodiac cruise (inflatable boat) to the nearby shore for a swim in the Mekong. Then take a cruise towards Kampong Cham to visit Wat Nokor, a temple built in the ruins of an ancient temple that holds a timeless story. On the way back to China, visitors visit an orphanage. On the way, cross a bamboo bridge about 2 km. Overnight on Jayavarman Cruise to Kampong Chhnang. Day 7 - KAMPONG CHAM - KAMPONG CHHNANG - TONLE SAP (B - L - D) Before dawn, the boat set sail for Kampong Chhnang on the Tonle River - an amazingly narrow river - gliding through the foliage of the forest dense Southeast Asia. Afterwards, visitors head to Kampong Chhnang, “where everything is on stilts – a wonderful sight to behold when practicing Tai Chi on the deck. Next, Motorboat Cruise to the pier followed by a bus trip to see Khmer-style pottery at Aundaung Russey village. Then return to the ship for an adventurous motorboat excursion to visit floating houses and fish farms. Lunch on board while cruising on Tonle River and free afternoon to relax on board. In the evening, guests will enjoy a sumptuous feast. And to make the party even more exciting - bring your dancing shoes to sway to the music. Overnight in Kampong Chhnang. Day 8 - TONLE SAP - SIEM REAP (B) Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia with a rich bird system. This lake is so large that one cannot see its shore from the middle of the lake. Visitors can feel the stillness of the water on the way to Siem Reap. Water levels vary greatly depending on the amount of rainfall during the time of year. Therefore, slight changes to the itinerary may occur in different seasons. The train ended when we arrived in Siem Reap - the city of the legendary Angkor temple complex. We said goodbye to the yacht when our cruise ended. The train moves across Tonle Lake at dawn and arrives at Siem Reap port at 9 o'clock to catch a shuttle bus back to the stopover in town. The program ends here.
